Clayton E. Moneymaker American Legion Post 237 celebrated its centennial Saturday at the post on Drake Avenue.

“We’ve had 100 years of service to Huntsville and Madison County,” John Carson, chairman of the communications committee, an honor guard member and photographer, said.

Huntsville City Councilman Bill Kling presented a proclamation from the city to Post 237 Commander Billy Heatherly, a first sergeant in Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 151st Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear Battalion, a Reserve unit in Oneonta.
