Patriot Launcher Moving To Ft. Sill

Workers break down and load the Patriot Launch System on the south side of the Sparkman Center Wednesday, August 28, 2019 on Redstone Arsenal, Ala. The Patriot system was put in place on Martin Road in 1992 for the Patriot Project Office. The test vehicle, with launch tubes filled with concrete to simulate the weight of the rockets for training, was prepared at the Letterkenny Army Depot in November of 1992. The launch system will take 2-3 days to reach Ft. Sill on multiple flatbed trucks. The Patriot launcher will be restored at the Ft. Sill Field Artillery Center. After restoration it will be placed outside Bentley Gate at Ft. Sill in Lawton, Oklahoma. (Eric Schultz / Redstone Rocket)
