When it comes to receiving a top notch education in engineering, students need look no further than the Rocket City’s own – The University of Alabama in Huntsville. U.S. News & World Report ranks UAH’s graduate engineering program in the top 100 in the country – number 90 to be exact, tied with the University of Kansas, University of Nebraska at Lincoln and University of Texas at Arlington. Auburn was the only other Alabama school to crack the top 100, coming in tied at 68. UAH as a whole came in at 187 in the 2016 of Best Colleges.

Of UAH’s total enrollment of 7,866 students, 1,981 of those are undergraduates in the College of Engineering, 520 graduate.
