In a tuneup Thursday for the playoffs, the Blouses had just five players.
But they brought their A game.
Wes Breland scored 22 with four 3-pointers in their 67-60 win over the Trashed Pandas at the Marshall Wellness Center. He also made two assists.
Blouses player/coach Josh Hillis had 21 with four 3-pointers and six rebounds. Chris Loepker added 10 points and 15 rebounds for the Blouses (10-6). Mike Flanagan had nine points and four assists.
“We just played great defense and got rebounds,” Hillis said. “We ran after their shooters and we took care of the ball.”
Hillis played for New Hope High School from 2000-03.
Blouses led 32-28 at halftime. They built a 53-43 lead with 9:10 left and were up 63-50 at 2:34.

“We got some good exercise in today,” Trashed Pandas player/coach Matt Pensa said. “We’ll be nice and ready to go by the time the playoffs start.”
