The two-time defending coed champions didn’t have their full lineup but they still had enough firepower.

The Other Team rolled past the Misfits, 24-9 on June 10 at NASA softball field 2 in the coed Redstone Division. Cleanup hitter Tybo Butler blasted a three-run homer and nearly hit for the cycle.

Butler went 4-for-5 with two doubles, six runs batted in and three runs scored for The Other Team (6-0). Leadoff hitter Austin Prosser

was 4-for-6 with a double, five RBIs and three runs.

“We were a little short-handed tonight but we had solid offense at key times along with our defense and were able to pull out a win,” winning pitcher/coach LaTesa Graham said.

Troy Dunning and Eric Widell had three hits apiece. Caleb Bagwell, Thomas Ford and Cordero Watkins added two hits apiece.

Misfits pitcher and leadoff hitter, Brian Stehle, took the loss but went 3-for-4 with an RBI double. Ben Copeland and Rachel Orr had two hits apiece for the Misfits (1-5). Copeland hit a two-run double. Orr hit a triple and scored two


“We came out here to have fun and we

did,” Misfits player/coach Kelly Sledgister-Stehle said.
