That was one heck of a Super Bowl. The Kansas City Chiefs, my pick to win it all, pulled the game out at the end.

In true Chiefs fashion, they trailed late and made a comeback. Quarterback Patrick Mahomes, arguably the best QB in the league, engineered two late touchdown drives.

Kansas City beat San Francisco 31-20.

I’m happy. I’d been telling people all week that Mahomes would lead the Chiefs to the promised land. This wasn’t his best game but he delivered at the end.

I’m happy for Mahomes, the Super Bowl MVP. I’m happy for Chiefs coach Andy Reid, who finally got his Super Bowl ring. I’m happy for linebacker Reggie Ragland, from the University of Alabama and Bob Jones High School.

And I’m happy one of my NFL predictions finally came true. I thought the Chiefs would win 28-21. But a win’s a win, baby.
